Bee's Wrap

Making the Pitch and Fractional HR Services

Bee’s Wrap started with a question: How could we eliminate plastics in our kitchen in favor of a healthier, more sustainable way to store our food?

What founder, Sarah Kaeck, discovered was a lost tradition made new again. By infusing organic cotton with beeswax, organic jojoba oil, and tree resin, Sarah created a washable, reusable, and compostable alternative to plastic wrap.

The Challenge

Founder Sarah Kaeck was at a crossroad. With a thriving business and a dedicated team, her company was growing at an exponential rate. However, her success was also her biggest challenge. Looking towards a future transaction, missing a senior management team, she needed support. Sarah brought to us an opportunity to help her take Bee's Wrap to the next step.

The Opportunity

With growing revenues, and growing complexities, Bee's Wrap founder Sarah Kaeck realized she needed more resources to support her business. With a future transaction in mind, Sarah asked Community Barn Ventures to conduct a Barn Storming, review and analyze her entire organization. From that review, we had the opportunity to target key areas for investment, and create a roadmap for Sarah and her company as they entered their next phase.

How We are Helping

Over a 2 year period, Community Barn Ventures provided an array of services and support to assist Sarah as she led Bee's Wrap into its next phase. Through ongoing review, analysis and feedback, we became part of the Bee's Wrap team, supporting multiple facets of the organization. Bee's Wrap also leveraged our Fractional HR Support Program and benefited from the expertise of our executive HR specialist, supporting Sarah, her team and the entire organization.
